We are not गरीब..!! The latest data released by Planning commission of Indian shows that people spending Rs.28.65 per day (Rs.859.60 per month) in Urban areas & Rs.22.43 per day (Rs.672.8 per month) in Rural areas are not POOR.

The data set by Planning Commission of India for BPL (Below Poverty Line) shows that there is a significant decline in poverty line.

Earlier it created an outrage when the Government had submitted the updated poverty line in the Supreme court that it would be Rs.32 per day in Urban Areas & Rs.26 in the Rural areas
